Having Lucy on board as a dramaturg on my most recent project was invaluable. Lucy was able to bring creative insight and ideas, whilst always keeping the project on track, bringing the key themes and concepts back in to focus, and raising important questions. As a devised project that integrated excerpts from a classic play, Lucy was effective in both helping to develop material and in breaking down and excavating the text. Lucy is a wonderfully positive presence to have in the room during rehearsals or research and development, and brings cast and crew together in an inclusive and collaborative way. Having time to talk to Lucy and reflect at the end of the development, helped me to evolve, structure, and refine the work.
